Snoqualmie Plant Planned Commercial / Industrial Environmental Impact Statement Final Statement published

On December 9, 2021, the Town of Snoqualmie published the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIA) for the planned commercial / industrial plan for the Snoqualmie plant.

The 261 acre site is located within the city limits of Snoqualmie and is owned by Snoqualmie Mill Ventures LLC. It does not include the adjacent Mill Pond / Borst Lake property.

The SIEF can be viewed on the Town’s website or at Snoqualmie Town Hall, located at 38624 SE River Street in Snoqualmie.

The issuance of the SIEF does not in itself authorize any physical construction on the site. SIEF will accompany the Commercial / Industrial Plan (PCI) application proposed by Snoqualmie Mill Ventures, which Snoqualmie City Council will ultimately consider.

If the PCI plan is approved, Snoqualmie Mill Ventures will then need to apply to physically develop the property. If approved, the redevelopment is expected to take place over a period of approximately 10 to 15 years.

Questions about SIEF or the next steps in the PCI plan process can be sent to Jason Rogers, Acting Director of Community Development, Town of Snoqualmie, PO Box 987, Snoqualmie, WA 98065, or emailed to jrogers @ snoqualmiewa. gov.
